Google Fuchsia

Computerworld has listed some information about Google's project Fuchsia that is in the works.  The way they wrote the article sounds like that this new project from Google is very much like another companies product.  This company is Microsoft with Windows 10.  This Fuchsia is said to run on a variety of hardware from "embedded systems to desktops and laptops".  The way they put this, it sounds like it's going to be Windows 10 like in manner.  Windows 10 was designed to run on a variety of hardware as well.  There is a version for embedded systems like the raspberry pi, there is one for phones, one for desktops, laptops, and tablets, and one for the Xbox One.  Especially now with the Windows 10 anniversary update out, making Windows 10 better on touch friendly devices, it's even more friendly on multiple devices.  If you are interested in reading the original computerworld article, feel free to check out the link below.

College and More

My name is Adam.  I am 23 years old.  I  am still living with my parents.  I've attended Des Moines Area community college for two years, earning an associates degree in Information Technology Network Administration and attended Iowa State University for a few years as well.  Due to a recent a recent job loss, my dad's job took us to Indiana, and I came along with as I do not have the cash to support myself on my own yet.  This did not let me complete my bachelors degree at Iowa State University.  However, due to a recent family illness (cancer), this led us to being in Indiana earlier than what we planned.  I am starting to look for a job, but it is tough, especially with no job experience and very little people you can use as references.  I am also just learning how to drive and have a fear of driving.  This also makes it hard to get a job as well.  As I am looking for a job, any extra help for paying off my loans is definetly appreciated.  Even if the help is with a job, advice, or a little help with money, all the help is greatly appreciated and I will return the favor.  You can visit my website at and find ways to contact me there or you can contact me through gofundme.
Thank you for reading,

Thank you again for all your help and support!  Be sure to check out my other blog at for Japanese lessons or my educational website at for other lessons!

Technology Advancement

It is amazing how far technology has advanced.  We use it for entertainment purposes, for news purposes, for communication purposes and sometimes for saving peoples lives.
I have recently read an article on fox news about how a deaf woman texted 911 to save two children's lives.  You can find the article below if you are interested in reading it.  Technology can be used for evil and for fun, however when it is used for purposes like this, it is amazing.

Linguistic Sentences

Before going through the Linguistics program at Iowa State, I knew that the sentence buffalo, buffalo, Buffalo, buffalo, buffalo, buffalo, Buffalo, buffalo existed and was a correct sentence.  However, I did not know the workings of this sentence and exactly why it was a correct sentence.  Iowa State has taught me and I now understand this chart.
For clarity on the chart, you can visit the Wikipedia article where this chart was found at:

This is a great song from an even greater game!

Constitutional Values

Let me start out with a quote from John Adams.  "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Adams 1798.  John Adams is warning us to keep our moral and religious values of the constitution.  Note here that John Adams was a part of the Unitarianism Christian movement.  This is a group that believed God is one entity and not three persons in one being.

If we also take a look at some of George Washington's statements.
On April 30th, 1789 on his inauguration he said "[T]he propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained."
And on September 19th, 1796 George Washington said "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and morality are indispensable supports. . . . And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that National morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
George Washington was a part of the Episcopal Church.  This is also a church of Christian faith.
Just in respect with the people who said these quotes (George Washington and John Adams), we have two founding fathers who are of Christian faith.  Founding fathers, the people who wrote the constitution.
Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and Benjamin Franklin also were of the Christian faith as well.
If they are Christian, it is hard to not say our country was not based on Christian values as well.
Also take a note - our laws are not here to give us our rights.  God gives us those rights, not humans.  The freedoms in our constitution were inspired by the bible with free will and how we make our own choices.
I will also end with a quote.
Benjamin Franklin said during prayers at the constitutional convention on July 28th in 1787 "I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth - that god governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, it is probable that an empire can rise without his aid?"
